Why You Need To Believe In A Higher Power

Everything is energy. Thoughts are energy, even money is energy. Regardless of what higher power you believe in, whether you are a theist or religious, having faith or belief in something greater than ourselves connects us to a higher purpose and helps us manifest the life we want to live.

Have you ever thought about someone from the past and suddenly you get a call or a text or a like on a post from them? Have you ever been thinking about Jan from Yoga class and suddenly there she is--at Target, behind you on the checkout line.

These things seem to be coincidences but newsflash: our thoughts are real things and they bring into our lives real things. If you're not on board with this, let's get you on the ship, because knowing that your life can be different is 95% of the work you need to do to live your best life. Yes, you need to work hard and bust your ass too, but we will deal with how to work smart and efficiently another time.

For now, every day when you wake up, or fold the laundry, or go for a walk, or whatever your peaceful moment is, say to yourself, for example, "I am worthy of being rich because not worrying about where my next dollar is coming from alleviates stress and allows me to be a better mother, wife, friend, and daughter."

It's OK to ask for things. It's OK to want things. You don't need to feel guilty about wanting a nice car or a nicer house, or even to own your house. This is your life. You are on this floating blue marble just once, so LIVE.
